Day 3
Meet Aleesha
Mum of 4, Forster NSW
What was the best gift you received at your baby shower? Or if you didn’t have a shower, gift before baby was born
Practical things like wipes, nappies, baby wash etc were by far the best gift I received!
Were you gifted anything that you never got around to using?
A Baby record keeping book
Did you receive any gifts at your shower that were for you (not baby) and if so, what were they?
No, I didn’t.
What did you personally buy for baby before they were born that you never ended up using?
A wipes warmer
Now that you’re a Mum, what’s your ‘go to’ baby shower gift?
All things practical for baby. I also buy much needed things for first-time mums that they will need for labor like maternity pads and lip balm, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant… I’ve have received great feedback on these gifts as they didn’t think of it.
A single tip for labour/delivery day
Staring at a spot on a wall and breathing is the best to get through those contractions drug-free! Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. But as long as baby arrives happy and healthy and is fed in whichever way you choose, you’re doing great!

Baby shower gift ideas to spoil mum to be
A Harmony Ball is an extra special baby shower gift that allows mum to be to create an early connection with her baby while in the womb. After birth, her pendant will be a timeless keepsake reminder of those first flutters, kicks and hiccups(!) experienced during pregnancy.
