GENERAL QUESTIONS

Harmony Ball chime pendants are designed to make a subtle but audible chime sound as a pregnant woman moves about her day to day activities. The chime sound while able to be heard, should not be disruptive to others while in public or in the workplace, for example.   

A Harmony Ball should rest against a pregnancy bump and on top of clothing, for all to see. It should not need to be fastened to clothing or immobilised. Womb’s grow at different rates, so the bigger the baby bump, generally the more the ball will bounce, and the more it will chime. 

Baby will hear the chime of your harmony ball while in the womb, and may be able to recognise its sound once born. 

If you would prefer a louder chime sound, we recommend Elli, the loudest chimer in our collection.

Every mother and baby is different. We do not make any guarantees about the level of connection that will be created between a mother and her baby, or that a baby will recognise and respond to the sound of a Harmony Ball after birth.

Our Harmony Ball necklaces don’t need to be gift wrapped. They come beautifully packaged in a hardcover gift box, placed inside a cotton drawstring bag.

Our packaging is reusable. We encourage you to remove our branding and use it for something else!

If you purchase a Card with your order, we can hand write a note on the inside. Please also include your message during checkout.

We sure can!

Please include the gift recipients details (including name and address) in the SHIPPING ADDRESS section of the checkout. Your (the buyers) details should go in the billing address fields.

Sometimes our emails are filtered incorrectly and may end up in your junk/spam folder. 

We send two emails for every purchase:

1) A confirmation your order has been received
2) A confirmation your order has been posted.

Another reason you may not receive your email notifications is that the email address you provided during checkout was entered incorrectly.

If you do not receive these emails from us, please check your junk/spam folder first, and if they cannot be found, send us a message using the form at the bottom of this page.

Yes, you can absolutely pay for your Bebe Bola purchase with a Debit/Credit card, without needing to sign up for or have an existing PayPal account.

Simply follow the prompts during checkout to pay using PayPal – then select the ‘Pay with Debit or Credit Card’ button in the PayPal pop up box (indicated by the orange arrow in the screenshot below).

Necklaces

  • Our Necklaces are snake chain style and at 100cm long, are the perfect length to rest upon your baby bump.
  • They are made from high quality stainless steel for added  strength and plated with 925 Sterling Silver.
  • Our necklaces are lead and nickel free.

Harmony Balls

  • Our silver Harmony Ball pendants are made of Copper, and coated with a premium quality silver for extra shine.
  • Our Harmony Ball pendants are lead and nickel free.

Charms

  • Our charms are made from a variety of alloy metals, please see individual charm pages for details.
  • Some products are assembled in house, meaning there may be some slight imperfections because, well, we’re not robots.

Yes! All our Harmony Ball pendants come on a  necklace that is a whole meter long! And will sit perfectly atop your growing up.

All our necklaces come beautifully packaged in a Hardcover gift box with sponge insert, so your pendant is nice and protected while it travels from us to you.

Inside your Bebe Bola gift box, you will find a small card containing the name of the Harmony Ball you purchased and a brief history of the Harmony Ball / Mexican Bola.

Conscious Packaging We use removable branding on all our packaging in the hope that you will reuse your gift box and drawstring bag, and recycle the compostable mailer bag. The thought of our packaging ended up in landfill doesn’t sit right with us. Please reuse what you can and recycle the rest.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Jewellery Care Instructions

Please follow these care instructions to preserve the longevity of your Bebe Bola product, and to ensure you get the best from your purchase.

Silver plated jewellery, like many other precious metals, may tarnish over time as exposure to air and moisture causes a chemical reaction in the Silver.

Please polish your pendant after each wear with a polishing cloth (provided with purchase) to keep your pendants surface clean of any elements that may oxidise.

  • Protect your jewellery from scratches, sharp blows, chemicals, extreme temperatures, humidity and sunlight where possible, both when wearing and storing

  • Do not wear jewellery when sleeping, showering, bathing, swimming, cleaning, gardening or working out

  • Allow make-up, body lotions, hair products, perfume and sunscreen to fully absorb before putting your jewellery on, as they contain chemicals that may damage your jewellery

  • If your jewellery gets wet, please pat dry immediately with a dry soft cloth
  • After each wear, gently wipe jewellery clean with a cotton, silver polishing or lint-free cloth to keep it free from elements that oxidise

  • Do not spray perfume or apply creams directly onto your jewellery

  • Store your necklace individually to stop it being scratched or tangled

  • Store jewellery in a dark, cool and dry place, inside an air tight bag or container

Cleaning your harmony ball

To clean any tarnish, fill a bowl with warm soapy water and wash gently with a soft cloth. For more troublesome spots, you may use a soft bristle toothbrush, however only very light pressure should be applied and only brushed in one direction. Dry well with a soft towel, and continue to polish your pendant after each wear to keep it clean and maintain its shine.

Wash with warm soapy water, and pat dry with a soft towel.

Do not leave with child unsupervised at any time.

POSTAGE + DELIVERY

Please note that Australia Post’s terms and conditions do not allow for special arrangements when delivering your package. For example, we cannot ask them to leave your delivery unattended on your veranda or doorstep i.e. Safe drop.

Similarly, we cannot ask them to ensure someone is home to accept a delivery or ask them not to leave the parcel in your letterbox. In these cases, please upgrade your order to include Signature on Delivery so that your parcel is taken to your local post office for collection if no one is home.

We ship all orders with Australia Post. An Australia Post tracking ID is provided for all purchases and will be emailed to you once your puchased is packaged and lodged with Australia Post.

You may track the progress of your delivery using the Australia Post website.

We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 3 to 4 business days of purchase. There may be a 1-2 business day delay if an order is placed on a Friday, a long weekend or on an Australian public holiday.

Standard parcels post:
In our experience, delivery takes between 4-7 business days, depending on your delivery address and proximity to our studio (NSW South Coast). Sydney deliveries can be the next day! Non-metro deliveries to W.A can take up to 9 business days. Please factor in this timeframe when making a purchase

Please upgrade to Express Post during checkout if time is sensitive.

Express Post:
Approx. 1-4 business days, depending on the delivery address in relation to Australia Posts Express Delivery network.

Use the Australia Post postage and a delivery time calculator for a better idea of delivery time to your Australian or international address (enter 2518 as the parcel’s origin postcode).

Once your parcel has left our studio, delivery is in the capable hands of Australia Post. Please see their website for standard delivery times. If you require your order sooner, please opt for Express Post during checkout.

*There may be a 1-2 business day delay if an order is placed going into the weekend, a long weekend or during an Australian public holiday.

In our experience, postage to W.A addresses take a little longer than usual to arrive. Please allow 5-8 business days (as opposed to the suggested 5-6 business days) for your item to arrive.

Postage
We use cardboard mailer boxes to keep your purchases nice and protected while they travel from us to you. And the mailer satchel bags are compostable and our packaging is re-usable.

Conscious packaging
We’ve made a conscious decision to brand our products and packaging with stickers that can be removed and recyclable products. This means our products arrive to your door beautifully packaged but once our branding has been removed, can be reused, repurposed or recycled.

Our orders are posted in compostable mailer bags that your worms will absolutely love. More about our commitment to reducing waste.

We do not ship outside of Australia at this time. We apologise for any disappointment.

AFTER PURCHASE

We care about our products and package orders in durable cardboard mailer boxes to keep them protected during delivery. We may also use recycled bubble wrap sparingly if we feel there is a need for extra protection.

If you have received an item which is damaged or faulty, please contact us via our web form or email  within 3 days of receiving your parcel. At Bebe Bola’s discretion, we may refund your purchase, offer an identical replacement or exchange for an item of equal value, or provide a gift certificate for a future purchase. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more.

We love our products, and are sure you’ll be more than happy with them too.

If however, you do experience a problem, please contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve it asap.

We don’t offer refunds for change of mind (please choose carefully) however we do encourage you to make contact if you are unhappy. We want Bebe Bola customers to love their products as much as we do! And are happy to review feedback on a case by case basis.
